These Special Ninjas are given to the highest ranking players in a server or in all servers combined. These items are given as daily reward during those events, some given after clearing stages during those events, and some are obtainable by gold/coupons purchase during those events. The items collected varies depending on events. An example of these items is:ĭuring some events, all players are ranked according to the amount of particular items they have collected all throughout the event. These items are given in fairly small amount and the packs contain random amount. These items are only given during event as a daily log-in reward or by purchasing packs that contain it. Juri and her Grandfather have different powers, while Juri can drive out "Specters" her grandfather can teleport a short distance while teleporting whoever he's holding hands with him too There are three characters that appeared in the anime that have powers in the world of "Stasis", the first one is as I've mentioned is Juri and her Grandfather is the second, I don't know why that is but I'm guessing it's only something in the Yukawa family. I'll focus on talking about the main ones, first of all we have Juri which is the second daughter of the Yukawa family and the person that posses the power to drive "Specters" out of a person body in "Stasis" I'll talk about this in a bit, Juri has a unique personality which is kind of the "big sister" personality we see quite often but she's not as naive as that and as I continued watching I began to like her. Maybe they just wanted to focus more on the story I don't know but that's what I saw while watching the anime. The reason I gave this a 7.5 is that because other than the things I mentioned nothing else really stood out, other than the sound effects at the fighting scenes there really wasn't that much on any other scene. There are many well known voice actors in Kokkoku, for example Kazuhiro Yamaji the person who voice acted the grandfather also voice acted Senior pink from One piece and Bang from One punch man, Anzai Chika who voice acted Juri also voice acted Kousaka Reina from Hibike! Euphonium, and there are many more other well known voice actors. Even though usually I skip the opening this one drew me in and I started listening to it even after finishing the anime, the ending didn't leave much of an impact it was good but it didn't stand out as much.įor the sound effects, they were pretty good and they would immerse you in the scene quite well, for me it was the fighting scene that's where the sound effects made a difference. アニメ「刻刻」OP / 主題歌「Flashback / MIYAVI vs KenKen」TVver.įirst of all let's talk about the op, this is the best opening I've heard in a while. There aren't that many bad thing about the art to be honest XD the only problem I saw while watching the anime is that some scenes looked like they were rushed, I don't blame them honestly because they had to air an episode every week they didn't have that much time to really make every scene perfect, but I gave it an 8 because I've seen anime with much better art than this, and those weren't 10/10 anime either in terms of other aspects. Every anime has it's unique character design and I really liked this one's, it has a big difference that you already might have noticed which are the eyes, this anime has many scenes that some people might consider gory and I think that it's a good thing they censored them because I don't really like gory scenes. The smoothness in the fighting scenes really drew me in especially when Juri fought with the kidnappers in the first episode. As I said before I really liked it when the "Heralds" showed up the art was smooth and it showed the details perfectly. Kokkoku's art is not bad by any means in fact when the "Heralds" and the "Specters" appear the art really draws you in to the anime and it's story, the characters design and the overall scenery is really good too but it's not the best I've seen. Near the end Junji somehow turns to a baby and because the stones were destroyed Juri is the only one able to send everyone back out of the "Stasis" by pushing the "Specters" out of their bodies but she can't do that to herself so she says with her enemy which became a baby in the "Stasis" world. When we reached the last couple of episodes the story shifted from the Yukawa family to Shokou's which I wasn't really interested in. Sagawa made the "Genuine Love Society" to learn everything he can about the world of "Stasis" and to use it for his own ends, that's it nothing more. The mysterious stone possess a power to stop time but it also comes with consequences, when time stops it's forbidden to hurt anyone in any way, if someone attempts to hurt a person frozen in time the "Herald" appears to protect them.Īnd that's basically what happend in the first episode, questions kept popping up as I was watching it and that's what made me continue watching it, like why are those people are moving? Isn't it only the Yukawa family supposed to be moving? Why do they want the stone? And so on, it brought something new which to be honest isn't a lot nowadays with the anime that's airing, and that's a good thing It makes you interested in the show.įor sure I didn't hate what the show brought but as the episodes kept on going it didn't really interest me anymore, after I knew that there's a second stone and anyone can basically use it then I asked myself yeah ok that's why they can get here but Sagawa, the "bad guy" in the story didn't really have a good reason to want the original stone. I crashed a few times, mostly from menu switching or attempting to leave a match. The most prevalent bugs were seriously game-influencing, if not outright game-breaking, such as players getting stuck between squares and becoming unselectable, or the game choosing a vital activation type without the player’s notice and messing up their plan for the turn. Probably the worst offenders in Blood Bowl 3 are the slew of technical issues – bugs, crashes, and input lag. For a sports game, it’s vital to have an at-a-glance understanding of the layout to make quick tactical decisions, but currently Blood Bowl 3 seems to fight the player, making the experience more stressful than it already is. It’s definitely more stylized and fits the sports theme of the game, but it comes across as too busy, clunky, and a lot of element sizes and colors make the UI also blend in with the map (it took me a couple of playthroughs to even find the tiny re-roll indicator). The UI doesn’t do much to help with readability either. The players on the field don’t stand out enough and can easily blend with the map’s overall color palette. However, the choice of colors and their saturation, as well as the rather busy map designs (the Imperial Nobility map especially) make it very hard to read and understand the action. Blood Bowl 3įrom a graphical and presentation standpoint, the game certainly looks flashier, more refined, and smoother than its most recent predecessor. It’s safe to say though, Blood Bowl 3 has a long way to go to reach Blood Bowl 2’s current solid success, as in its current beta state there are a number of technical and stylistic issues that are alarming at worst and make the game quite frustrating to play. Players will create a team from the multitude of races on hand (there were only three in the preview), hire players, customize their visuals and accessories, and take them to the field to play in tense matches against other players or the AI. Though Blood Bowl is technically set in an alternate version of the Warhammer Fantasy universe, where the major factions vent their urges for war in bloody sports instead of on the battlefield (as far as we know), it has little relation with the main timeline found in Creative Assembly’s Total War adaptation of the license.īlood Bowl 3 follows its predecessors’ structure almost verbatim in that it’s a turn-based strategy mashup of rugby, American football, and chess. This time the veteran developer team has teamed up with Nacon (Focus Home Interactive published the previous two) to bring a new and updated version of Games Workshop’s tabletop miniatures game. The Blood Bowl series is coming back with a bang with a new iteration once again developed by Cyanide Studio. But we have proven (with over 90,000 people attending in 2014) that it can still be a valuable asset to the community as a “family-friendly” entertainment venue. Obviously restoring the old movie theater to a new movie theater is impossible. We have invested nearly $1 million in renovations so far from generous contributions from the community. Believe it or not, these are difficult to come by. We are seeking pictures that anyone may have of the Belaire Theater or the shopping center. As a co-founder of Artisan Center Theater, I am working to help restore this area of Hurst and create a historical picture museum of the many people that came here to see movies or shop or “cruise” since the 1960’s …. Thank you for sharing the updates “dallasmovietheaters” and “jamestv”. The theater was the Hurst-Belaire shopping center’s beacon of light salvaging the theater and proved that this location could provide decades of entertainment for the area. In 2013, the Artisan signed a five-year extension which would take the theater past its 50th anniversary. In 2005, the live theater group took over the Belaire knocking down the wall between screens three and four while using houses one and two for rehearsals and workshops. However, at least one group would come calling.Įmpty for four years and with a very uncertain future, the Artisan Center operating in the faded North Hills Mall was looking for a new home. When the doors locked for the last time, few seemed to take notice. The theater appears to have had a 20-year lease honored followed by, perhaps, a 15-year lease where it closed as a decrepit, seedy independent dollar house in a shopping center that had neither been updated nor had many retailers remaining when the theater closed in December of 2001. It was quadplexed into four auditoriums and became a sub-run dollar house. The theater opened Apwith “That Darn Cat” a day after an invitation-only screening of “The Trouble with Angels” the night before. It was part of Interstate Theaters $4 million expansion with nine theaters including the Westwood in Richardson, South Fort Worth’s Wedgewood, the Westwood in Abilene, and Pasadena’s Parkview Theater. The $350,000 theater had 70mm projection with 6-channel stereo sound and parking for mre than 700 cars. The theater was housed in the Hurst-Belaire Shopping Center which, itself, opened theater-less on Jin Hurst, Texas by George P. The rows would become wider by the time it was built ending up with 860 total seats all on the main floor. The proposed 1,000 seat theater was arranged continental style with long rows instead of multiple aisles. Thompson architected Belaire Theater project was just the second new build Interstate Theatre for the Dallas-Fort Worth area since the 1949 construction of Dallas’ Forest Theatre. Naval Technology notes that seabed warfare has an element of plausible deniability, adding a hybrid dimension to offensive seabed warfare operations.Īn attack against undersea internet cables can have devastating consequences. In a December article last year, Naval Technology claimed that no country is currently well-equipped or prepared for the challenges of modern seabed warfare. Seabed warfare presents unique operational challenges. She also mentions that slightly bending the cables can allow enough light to leak out for data extraction, with the resulting disruption so indiscernible that it doesn’t register the cables are being tapped.īryan Clark notes in a 2015 report for the Center for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments that the expansion of undersea infrastructure including energy pipelines, undersea communication cables and civilian hydroacoustic sensors has made it imperative to take new forms of encroachment into account when planning for undersea warfare.Ĭlark writes these could include accidental detection by non-military sensors, protection of vital undersea infrastructure and opportunities to inflict damage on enemy undersea infrastructure during a conflict. These tiny devices capture light sent through the cables, copy it and turn it into data without disrupting Internet traffic. Khazan writes that “intercept probes” could be deployed by agents at cable landing stations. Calcium is an alloying used in the production of alluminium, beryllium, copper, lead and magnesium alloys. It is also used as a deoxidizer in the manufacture of many steels as a reducing agent in the preparation of metals as chromium, thorium, zirconium and uranium, and as separating material for gaseous mixtures of nitrogen and argon. The metal is used in aluminium alloys for bearings, as a helper in the bismuth removal form lead, as well as in controlling graphitic carbon in melted iron. The commercially produced metal reacts easily with water and acids and it produces hydrogen which contains remarkable amounts of ammonia and hydrocarbides as impurities. It burns in the air at a high temperature to produce nitride. In contact with air, calcium develops an oxide and nitride coating, which protects it from further corrosion. This is obtained by treatment of carbonated minerals with chlorhydric acid, or like a sub product of the carbonates Solvay process. In the industry, metallic calcium is separated from the melted calcium chloride by electrolysis. This can be avoided with the water softeners. It is less chemically reactive than alkaline metals and than the other alkaline-earth metals.Ĭalcium ions solved in water form deposits in pipes and boilers and when the water is hard, that is, when it contains too much calcium or magnesium. A well as beryllium and aluminium, and unlike the alkaline metals, it doesn’t cause skin-burns. The metal is trimorphic, harder than sodium, but softer than aluminium. Humans have used calcium compounds since many millennia but didn’t understand their composition. Archeologists have discovered many statues and constructions dating back to 7,000 BC were made from lime – a compound of calcium. Discovery Humphry DavyĬalcium compounds were known to humans since ancient times. Among them, China is the largest producer of calcium and United States is the largest consumer of calcium – which takes about half of the world’s calcium that is produced each year. Most of the calcium that occurs on the earth is in the minerals which are limestone, chalk, marble, dolomite, and gypsum.Ĭalcium is produced by many countries, but the leader in calcium production are China, Russia, and the United States. It constitutes about 3% of the crust which makes it the 5 th most abundant element. Calcium is usually taken in form of calcium carbonate as a food supplement to improve the health of bones, teeth, and nerveĬalcium is one of the most abundant elements in the Earth’s crust. A good quantity of calcium is also used in food products and medicines.Hydrogen can be stored in calcium metal because it reacts with calcium to form calcium hydrides, and extracting hydrogen gas back from the calcium is very easy.Adding some calcium into aluminum metal makes an alloy that is stronger than aluminum alone and improves bearings strength. Bearings that are made from aluminum are not strong enough to withstand the friction and heavy load for longer.Maintenance-free batteries used in vehicles use calcium-lead alloy for reducing the loss of water from the battery and self-discharging.Calcium helps in improving the castability, purity, and some other mechanical properties of steel. Currently, the largest amount of calcium is used by steel industries for making steel.
