![]() Juri and her Grandfather have different powers, while Juri can drive out "Specters" her grandfather can teleport a short distance while teleporting whoever he's holding hands with him too There are three characters that appeared in the anime that have powers in the world of "Stasis", the first one is as I've mentioned is Juri and her Grandfather is the second, I don't know why that is but I'm guessing it's only something in the Yukawa family. I'll focus on talking about the main ones, first of all we have Juri which is the second daughter of the Yukawa family and the person that posses the power to drive "Specters" out of a person body in "Stasis" I'll talk about this in a bit, Juri has a unique personality which is kind of the "big sister" personality we see quite often but she's not as naive as that and as I continued watching I began to like her. ![]() Maybe they just wanted to focus more on the story I don't know but that's what I saw while watching the anime. The reason I gave this a 7.5 is that because other than the things I mentioned nothing else really stood out, other than the sound effects at the fighting scenes there really wasn't that much on any other scene. There are many well known voice actors in Kokkoku, for example Kazuhiro Yamaji the person who voice acted the grandfather also voice acted Senior pink from One piece and Bang from One punch man, Anzai Chika who voice acted Juri also voice acted Kousaka Reina from Hibike! Euphonium, and there are many more other well known voice actors. Even though usually I skip the opening this one drew me in and I started listening to it even after finishing the anime, the ending didn't leave much of an impact it was good but it didn't stand out as much.įor the sound effects, they were pretty good and they would immerse you in the scene quite well, for me it was the fighting scene that's where the sound effects made a difference. アニメ「刻刻」OP / 主題歌「Flashback / MIYAVI vs KenKen」TVver.įirst of all let's talk about the op, this is the best opening I've heard in a while. There aren't that many bad thing about the art to be honest XD the only problem I saw while watching the anime is that some scenes looked like they were rushed, I don't blame them honestly because they had to air an episode every week they didn't have that much time to really make every scene perfect, but I gave it an 8 because I've seen anime with much better art than this, and those weren't 10/10 anime either in terms of other aspects. Every anime has it's unique character design and I really liked this one's, it has a big difference that you already might have noticed which are the eyes, this anime has many scenes that some people might consider gory and I think that it's a good thing they censored them because I don't really like gory scenes. ![]() The smoothness in the fighting scenes really drew me in especially when Juri fought with the kidnappers in the first episode. As I said before I really liked it when the "Heralds" showed up the art was smooth and it showed the details perfectly. Kokkoku's art is not bad by any means in fact when the "Heralds" and the "Specters" appear the art really draws you in to the anime and it's story, the characters design and the overall scenery is really good too but it's not the best I've seen. ![]() Near the end Junji somehow turns to a baby and because the stones were destroyed Juri is the only one able to send everyone back out of the "Stasis" by pushing the "Specters" out of their bodies but she can't do that to herself so she says with her enemy which became a baby in the "Stasis" world. When we reached the last couple of episodes the story shifted from the Yukawa family to Shokou's which I wasn't really interested in. Sagawa made the "Genuine Love Society" to learn everything he can about the world of "Stasis" and to use it for his own ends, that's it nothing more. ![]() The mysterious stone possess a power to stop time but it also comes with consequences, when time stops it's forbidden to hurt anyone in any way, if someone attempts to hurt a person frozen in time the "Herald" appears to protect them.Īnd that's basically what happend in the first episode, questions kept popping up as I was watching it and that's what made me continue watching it, like why are those people are moving? Isn't it only the Yukawa family supposed to be moving? Why do they want the stone? And so on, it brought something new which to be honest isn't a lot nowadays with the anime that's airing, and that's a good thing It makes you interested in the show.įor sure I didn't hate what the show brought but as the episodes kept on going it didn't really interest me anymore, after I knew that there's a second stone and anyone can basically use it then I asked myself yeah ok that's why they can get here but Sagawa, the "bad guy" in the story didn't really have a good reason to want the original stone. ![]()
